Public Policy Committee

Our Public Policy program strongly supports the Principles for Action highlighted in the National Program for 2007-2009. We work in partnership with other organizations to build public policy participation at the local, state, and national levels to promote equity and education for all women and girls. Biennial priorities for federal action include:

Support for quality public education that promotes gender fairness, equity, and diversity.
Support for economic self-sufficiency for all women.
Support for constitutional protection that guarantees equality, individual rights, and social justice for a diverse society.
